We give you a detailed written breakdown with photos of each component we'll work on, plus the actual part numbers and labor hours. For example, if we need to replace your brake pads, we'll write 'Replace front brake pads (part #34215, 2 pcs) - 1 hour labor' instead of just saying 'brake service'. You can see the exact parts we're going to use and how much time they'll take.

We stop work immediately and call you to explain what we found. If it's something that needs to be fixed right away (like a cracked brake line), we'll do it but we'll also give you an updated cost estimate showing exactly what the new repairs are worth. If it's not urgent, we'll tell you 'this would cost RM1200 to fix' and you can decide whether to proceed.

We show you our standard rate card that lists exactly how much we charge per hour for labor and the actual cost of parts. If a part costs us RM150, we'll tell you 'the part costs RM150, plus 3 hours at RM80/hour = RM240 labor' instead of just saying 'your brake job is RM390'. We don't add hidden markups.

Yes, we always give you a detailed written estimate that's valid for 7 days. It breaks down exactly what will be done - like 'Replace oil filter and oil (RM50), drain and refill oil (RM80), replace air filter (RM30)' - and shows the total price before any work begins so you can say no if it's too expensive.
